  1. PennDOT Posts Franklin Rd. Plans for Public Review

    January 4, 2021 - January 11, 2021

    The purpose of the project is to increase traffic capacity and improve safety along Franklin Road. The project corridor begins at the signalized intersection with SR 0228 (Mars Crider Road) and continues north to the signalized intersection with T-307 (Peters Road), for a total length of one and a half miles. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2022. The project plans are available for public comment (online only) from January 4- 11, 2021.

  1. Muscles and Mobility - 10:00 AM

    January 4, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    This class has it all! It is similar to Body Pump and Group Barbell, but we are replacing the weighted squats and lunges with Intervals for a great cardio burst. You will sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight and high repetitions. Participants may use a barbell, dumbbells or no weight at all. As you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. This class will help burn fat and increase lean muscle mass, bone mineral density and metabolism. All fitness levels will be accommodated. Bring a mat. Space limited. Location: Venango Trail Fitness Studio in the Municipal Building. Instructor: Nancy Triscuit

  2. Bar Fight - 6:30 PM

    January 4, 2021, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    A 30/30 blend of barbell and cardio kickboxing. The barbell portion of the class uses resistance training exercises mixed with isometric stability exercises. The cardio kickboxing portion of class uses mixed martial arts to build strength, mental stamina, and release stress, all while teaching you some epic self defense moves. This class is for all fitness levels. Location: Venango Trail Fitness Studio in MC. Instructor: Michelle Jones
