  1. Group Barbell - 8:15 AM

    January 11, 2020, 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    You will still sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight (not super low, but lower than an Olympic weight lifter!!) and high repetitions. Participants may use a barbell, dumbbells or no weight at all. All fitness levels will be accommodated! This has been proven to be one of the quickest ways to get in shape. New students may want to check out a Strength Training basics class beforehand but not required. Remember, as you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. Weight Lifting increases lean muscle mass, increases bone mineral density, increases metabolism, burns fat and so much more.

    Everyone can do yoga. You don't have to be flexible; you don't have to be thin or white or a woman! This class will show you that all you need is your body as it is right now - not 10 years ago and not the way you think it should be. You will learn how to make the practice work for you. You will learn the basics and that can take you anywhere!

    If you have never done Strength training before or if you need a refresher on technique - this is the class for you! You will learn the ins and outs of Group Barbell, Sculpt 360 and Strength Training classes. You will learn how and when to modify and will be able to ask questions as they occur to you!
