  1. Sculpt360 - 9:00 AM

    September 24, 2020, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    As you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. This class will help burn fat and increase lean muscle mass, bone mineral density and metabolism. You will sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight and high repetitions or high weight and low reps using all kinds of equipment which is sanitized afterwards. All fitness levels will be accommodated. Bring a mat. Space limited. Wear mask into building but not required to exercise. 18+. 14-17 with paying parent or caregiver.     This class is designed to use the picnic tables in the shelter, however feel free to BYOC! You thought indoor chair yoga was great? Wait until you try it outside - the warm sun, the birds singing, a light breeze - you may not want to go back inside! We will not be on the ground for this class and shoes may be worn (if they are not, please bring a mat to stand on). A cushion or blanket might be nice to sit on.     Join us in the fitness studio for a class that all about helping you move better, with less pain and/or more intelligence. We will focus on different body parts and you will find different movement patterns that may help you to correct an issue that has arisen due to overuse (doing something over and over), misuse (doing something over and over the wrong way) and abuse (maybe you fell recently or even a long time ago). Bring a mat and if you have your own block, strap (could be a belt or scarf), and/or set of TuneUp balls please bring those too. If not, no worries! Instructor: Nancy Triscuit

    MOVING TO 8:30 NEXT WEEK! Want a big calorie burn, but need low-impact movement? We will be alternating between easy-to-follow low impact cardio that will burn lots of calories and Core moves to tighten and tone the mid-section. Class will approximate the following: Warm-up - 5 minutes, Low Impact Cardio (LIC) - 15 minutes, Core 15 min. (most of it standing and using weights), LIC 10 minutes, Core - 10 minutes - CD - 5 Min.     This class is appropriate for all students seeking the benefits of a very relaxing, gentle, and nourishing practice. The combination of gentle Hatha and deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress. Students with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic conditions are welcome in these classes. Practitioners with limitations related to age or size as well as students with a more vigorous yoga practice will benefit from this practice. No prior yoga experience required. Please bring a mat, a blanket and blocks if you have them. 18+ (14-17 with paid parent/caregiver) Wear a mask into the building but not required to exercise. Space limited.
