    As you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. This class will help burn fat and increase lean muscle mass, bone mineral density and metabolism. You will sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight and high repetitions. Participants may use a barbell, dumbbells or no weight at all. All fitness levels will be accommodated.     Have knee pain and aren't sure why? Maybe you feel like you have imbalances or instability in your body? This is your chance to figure it out. Cardio will be walking (forward, backward, sideways. lunges) - if you are perfectly fine, great - you can go for it and even run if you feel like it OR use it as a chance to prehab before it turns into rehab! The rest of us are going to be working on the way we are moving our bodies - how can we move better? The strength moves will not be your regular strength moves - we will be working on hip mobility, knee stability and ankle mobility. Yoga stretches will finish out the class. Bring a mat, and weights and a loop band if you have them. We have extra that can be disinfected before and after class. Practitioners with limitations related to age or size as well as students with a more vigorous yoga practice will benefit from this practice. No prior yoga experience required.
