High school and college students aren’t the only ones receiving diplomas this month.
Members of the Community Leadership Institute of Cranberry (CLIC) were recognized prior to the May 25 Board of Supervisors meeting.
A collaboration between the Township and the Cranberry Township Community Chest, CLIC promotes community engagement, growth, and understanding by offering an in-depth look at how Cranberry Township functions on a day-to-day basis, and what local government does to improve the quality of life for the community.
The 23 participants got a behind-the-scenes look at planning and development; public safety; public works; utilities; parks and recreation; communications, customer service, IT, and library services.
Registration for next year’s session opens this fall.
