The 2021 celebration of diversity in Cranberry Township has been rescheduled and reinvented.
CranFest In The Park will take place from 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 10 at the newly renovated Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park.
Featuring food trucks, musical and dance performances representing various ethnic backgrounds, CranFest is a celebration of the diverse community that Cranberry Township has begun. It is organized by the Cranberry Area Diversity Network, a group with a mission to create a safe space for diverse cultures to engage in meaningful and respectful conversations while broadening the community’s acceptance of diversity.
Entertainment includes the Bell School of Irish Dance, Batavia Music Studios, Middle Eastern Dance from Moquette Volante, Pittsburgh Xiaobo Waist Drum Dance Group and Cranberry YMCA Tai Chi Demo, jazz from Sam Kochis and Friends, and Indian dance from Avigna and First Class Bhangra.
Food trucks scheduled to be on hand include Hummus Pittsburgh Food Truck, Two and a Half Greeks, Cool Beans Taco Truck, Mobile Chef, Mommalicious Food Truck, Sak Pasè, Delina’s EthioCafe, and Poppalicious Dogz.
A special thanks to CranFest Neighborhood Sponsor, Dutilh Church, for helping bring this event to the community.
