Three decades of service, passion and commitment to Cranberry Township were honored January 4 as Township Manager Jerry Andree officially retired from his role.

Andree was honored and thanked for his stellar career during the Board of Supervisors’ January 4 reorganizational meeting. The virtual meeting was streamed to residents and staff, with Andree and administrators meeting in person.

The Board, as well as members of the Township staff and administration, presented Andree with a photo book highlighting the successes, friendships, and achievements over the course of his career.

A video featuring well wishes from various individuals was shown, and a memory book signed by employees and the Board was presented to Andree. Members of Andree’s family also shared a heartfelt message about his life and career.

Andree’s mark will remain in Cranberry Township for decades thanks to a street named in his honor, as well as a bench featuring a commemorative plaque to be placed in a park of Andree’s choosing.

Additionally, the Jerry Andree Endowment Fund was formally presented. Funded by individual and private donations, the endowment will directly support the Township’s parks, ensuring their sustainability for future generations. Township parks have been a passionate project for Andree as they exemplify Cranberry’s mission of making the Township an inclusive place to live, work and play for everyone.

Andree shared his final remarks as Manager and expressed thanks for the work of the Board and staff for helping Cranberry achieve such success.
