Keep the Change: Board Remains the Same After Reorganizational Meeting

Many things perhaps need shaken up as the calendar shifts to 2021.

The Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors is not one of those things.

The Board structure will remain the same following the January 4 reorganizational meeting, building on the success of years passed.

Dick Hadley will continue serving as Supervisor Chairman, while Mike Manipole will remain as Vice Chairman.

The Board will continue to represent various areas of Township government as liaisons in 2021, including:

  • Library and Parks & Recreation and Councils of Governments – Mike Manipole
  • Planning & Development Services, including Code Administration, Planning Commission, and Zoning Hearing Board, and Building/Fire Codes Board of Appeals – John Skorupan
  • Public Safety, including Police, Fire, and Emergency Management – Bruce Mazzoni
  • Public Works – Bruce Hezlep
  • Administration – Dick Hadley
  • Intergovernmental Relations – Bruce Mazzoni and John Skorupan

Supervisors also re-appointed several individuals to serve on boards and commissions, including:

  • James Beck to the Building/Fire Codes Board of Appeals for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2023
  • Robert Watters to the Building/Fire Codes Board of Appeals for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2023
  • Allyson Mazzoni to the Library Board to a three-year term expiring December 31, 2023
  • Eric Vollmer to the Library Board to a three-year term expiring December 31, 2023
  • Sharon Beck to the Planning Advisory Commission to a four-year term expiring December 31, 2024
  • Susan Rusnak to the Planning Advisory Commission to a four-year term expiring December 31, 2024
  • Ed Sarver to the Vacancy Board to a one-year term expiring December 31, 2021
  • Vincent Plocido to the Zoning Hearing Board for a five-year term expiring December 31, 2025
