Though the course itself offers world-class challenges and competition, the “ace in the hole” at Cranberry Highlands Golf Course is perhaps the Clubhouse.
It plays host to over 200 events a year - everything from weddings and golf tournaments to banquets and graduation parties. As use has grown in recent years, a need for renovation has too.
That’s why the Board of Supervisors at their Jan. 31 meeting approved a contract with RSCC Architecture to prepare a Master Plan for the Clubhouse.
Areas of focus include the HVAC system, the banquet space, the pro shop and kitchen. The plan will also determine if expansion is needed.
The venue hosts hundreds of events each year, many of which book a year in advance. Because of this, a timeline for the project is not yet locked in, as work could not take place with events occurring.
