Cranberry Township Emergency Medical Service was presented with the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Award at the June 27 meeting of Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors. The award, which is part of a national initiative to improve care for patients with acute, high-risk, time sensitive, life threatening diseases, encourages health system stakeholders to work together to reduce patient mortality and morbidity. Cranberry Township EMS is one of just 615 of the 20,000 emergency medical services nationwide, and 77 in Pennsylvania, to receive this award.
