An analysis of indicators and trends that could affect Cranberry’s ability to continue attracting new businesses and residents was summarized by Planning and Development Services Director Ron Henshaw at the April 25 meeting of Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors. The study, which compared the Cranberry area to Pittsburgh and to regions east, south and west of the city, examined demographics, workforce characteristics, economic indicators, retail sales and commercial market activity. It concluded that Cranberry was set to attract a significant number of new residents over the next four years along with a growing workforce.
