Plans for two expansions totaling 6,600 square feet to Hope Lutheran Church on Rowan Road were presented for public comment at the May 26 meeting of Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors. The church’s conditional use application follows its acquisition of a property immediately to the west of its current site. Plans call for a house currently on the lot to be demolished allowing for the new additions, the church driveway would be rerouted, and streetscape enhancements along the Rowan would also be built. Improvements to the church parking and stormwater handling systems were made previously. The Board agreed to consider action on the church’s application at its June 2 meeting.
