The former Thyssen Krupp copper and brass building on Park Road, behind Fun Fore All, may be in for a major upgrade and re-purposing. #1 Cochran, Western Pennsylvania’s largest auto sales and service organization, is looking to open its sixth collision repair center, this time in Cranberry. If its Conditional Use application is approved, the Cochran body shop would employ approximately 30 people and generate extensive improvements to the building and immediate surrounding area. At its January 28 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors heard public testimony concerning the application which would involve additional parking, car storage, landscaping and sidewalks, as well as a number of interior improvements. Final consideration will be given at the Board’s February 4 meeting. For more information, contact Ron Henshaw, Director, Planning & Development
