Portion of Municipal Center Rear Parking Lot to CLOSE

The second phase of the Municipal Center Rear Parking Lot Improvements Project will begin Wednesday, September 7, and is expected to last until mid-November.

During the second phase, the eastern half of the rear parking lot will be fenced off and closed. This includes the rear Police entrance and most of the rear sidewalk which will be demolished and removed.

Construction of the rear parking lot is anticipated to be completed early November.

Due to the ongoing work, the 911 Emergency Call Box will be moved from the Police entrance to the Parks & Rec entrance in the rear of the building. Signage and barricades will be in place to direct visitors, along with temporary lighting.

Employees will park in the St. Ferdinand parking lot until Phase 2 is complete.

Additionally, beginning October 3rd, the Seneca Valley School District busses will drop-off and pick-up in the front entrance of the building, as construction moves to the western area of the rear parking lot.

Future partial closures to other areas of the rear parking lot are anticipated as the entire rear parking lot is being improved.
