Butler Among Counties to Move to Yellow Phase

Butler County will move to the yellow phase of Governor's plan to re-open PA. Change takes effect Friday, May 15. Every neighboring county will move to yellow, except Beaver County. A stay-at-home order was extended to June 4 for all counties in red.

Butler Among Counties to Move to Yellow Phase
Butler County will move to the yellow phase of Governor Tom Wolf’s plan to re-open the state.
The change takes effect Friday, May 15.
Under the yellow phase:
The stay-at-home order is lifted.
Childcare centers can reopen while observing social distancing and cleaning guidelines.
Groups of 25 can gather.
Some non-life-sustaining businesses can also reopen under half capacity.
Masks must continue to be worn in public places and businesses.
Hair and nail salons, gyms, spas, theaters and casinos will remain closed.
Restaurants and bars remain limited to carryout and delivery.
Remote work and work-from-home is still encouraged.
Every neighboring county will also move to the yellow phase, except for Beaver County, which remains in the red phase. A stay-at-home order was extended to June 4 for all counties in the red phase.
