Comments can be made at a public meeting on any item that is on the agenda or on a general topic not included on the agenda. (This option does not include scheduled public hearings.)

The public comment period (except for public hearings items) will be called for by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors at the beginning of the meeting. At this time individuals should use the “raise hand” function to be recognized. You will be called when it is your turn and asked to unmute yourself. You may make your public comment at this time. Please remember to give your name and address when you begin to speak. 

The preferred method to provide comments to the Board of Supervisors is to virtually attend the live meeting broadcast and share comments at the appropriate time. If you are unable to attend the meeting, the Board will accept written comments in advance of the meeting. Please refer to the instructions below:

General Comments

Submit written comments by U.S. Mail by 5:00 PM the day before the scheduled meeting.

If using U.S. Mail, allow sufficient time for delivery.  Note: This does not apply to public hearing testimony.
