FEMA flood plain map soon to be final

Good news for homeowners

The Township has a paper copy of a Revised Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

On April 12,  2016 the Township received notification from FEMA that the projected date for the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps for Butler County will be considered as final in July 2017. The date was pushed back from January 2017, due to the review of previously submitted appeals.

The map can be viewed in the Customer Service Center in the Municipal Center during regular business hours.
