History

The electronic message board at the corner of Routes 19 and 228, was a joint project of the Cranberry Township Community Chest (CTCC), Cranberry Township, the Lions Club, the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and UPMC. It was identified as the first CTCC Community Project of the Year.

This board is an updated replacement for a community sign owned by the Rotary, which had been taken down from its Freedom Road site in 2004 when additional right of way was required to build new turning lanes onto Route 19.
