Complying with the Mandatory Recycling Act

Cranberry Township is required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to report the recycling activities of business in Cranberry Township.  Commercial and institutional establishments are required to recycle high-grade office paper, aluminum, corrugated paper (cardboard) and leaf waste.  It is the Township’s responsibility to ensure that these materials are collected and that the amounts are reported to county and state agencies.  Please complete the online report and make a note of any other materials that you may recycle for our records.

Cranberry Township, along with other municipalities in the State, has been mandated to recycle 35% of their total waste.

Last year with your participation, Cranberry Township exceeded this goal. Thank you for your continuing efforts.
