Cranberry is connected, convenient andwelcoming to all
Cranberry is a fast-growing, family-oriented community with a strong economy and tremendous public assets. It has become a community of choice for people from throughout the region and around the world. But capturing that identity in a brief, authentic message makes it easier to share the Cranberry spirit with people around the region as well as our own residents.
As part of Cranberry’s 25-year comprehensive planning process which concluded in 2009, a task force of residents worked with Township staff and outside experts to define and characterize Cranberry in meaningful, distinctive ways. The result: a concerted communications effort around the theme: Cranberry Township: Built for You. Its goals are to achieve higher levels of civic engagement by residents, increase Cranberry’s respect around the region, add value to Township-based businesses, and create more effective local government policies.
Private companies are welcome to partner with Cranberry in this campaign. A users’ manual was developed to define, standardize and share the implementation of the “Built for You” public image program. It provides guidelines for proper use in all print and electronic communications.
The campaign is designed to reinforce three key attributes that Cranberry Township is already known for: Connectedness, Convenience, and Community. Its essential message is that Cranberry Township is an ideal place to call home, to run a business, or simply hang out. With easy access to everything, it’s a forward-thinking community with a positive energy that’s reflected in its people, shops, green spaces and businesses.
With all of its variety, energy and excitement, there is always an aspect of their community that residents can connect with. As a result, people feel – with good reason – that the development of Cranberry Township was done with their family, their business, and their personal priorities in mind.
