    Cranberry includes just over 23 square miles and a population of more than 28,000 – up from less than 15,000 in 1990. One reason for the rapid growth is its prime location. Situated at the intersection of two major Interstate highways, it is easily accessible from anywhere in the region. Travel time between Cranberry and downtown pittsburgh is less than half an hour.

  9. Cranberry Caring Center

    Located in the Municipal Center, across from the Township Administration Offices, the center serves as a collection point by, or for non-profit organizations, civic groups, and senior project collections.

  10. Customer Service

    The Center is available to respond to questions and to assist residents with a wide variety of transactions, including questions related to sewer, water and trash services.

  11. Education

    Seneca Valley School District is the public school system serving the children of Cranberry Township. In addition, St. Kilian's offers classes from preschool - grade 6. A new Catholic high school is planned for a site across Rt. 228 from the elementary school.

    The Forum provides an opportunity for appointed representatives of the Homeowners Associations (HOA) to meet and discuss common issues and concerns, and to learn about the latest Township news.

    The Mission of the Cranberry Public Library is to bring delight to the spirit of our community and region by serving as a destination for exploration, enrichment, information, creativity, collaboration, inspiration and discovery. Come and visit!

  17. Parks & Recreation

    We create community through people, parks and programs, services and events. We have something for every age and interest! Residents enjoy our Township parks year round.

  18. Pre-School

    The Center for Early Education offers half-day programs for children ages 3-5, and follows the Creative Curriculum for Preschool by Teaching Strategies, Inc., which is approved by the PA Dept. of Education's Early Learning Standards for pre-kindergarten.

  19. Public Safety

    The Department coordinates the activities of police, the fire department, the ambulance corps, and the emergency management agency.

  20. Senior Center

    Located in the Township Municipal Center, the Center is open year round. It is operated by the Lutheran Services Society and the Butler County Area Agency on Aging, offering daily lunches Monday-Friday, plus planned activities.

  21. Sewer & Water Service

    The Township owns and operates the public water supply system.

  22. Streets & Roads

    A division of the Public Works Department, this group oversees vehicle fleet and equipment maintenance, roadway repair, street sign installation and maintenance, storm drainage, construction projects, winter maintenance, sweeping, and right-of-way clearing.

    The Collection Connection™ is Cranberry’s residential collection service for trash, recycling and yard waste.

  24. Volunteer Opportunities

    Volunteers help to strengthen our community. Working together, the Township and the Community Chest offer many opportunities for service.

    Information regarding election dates, voter registration, absentee ballots, write-in voting, and accessibility issues.

  26. Waterpark

    Ramp up the fun, cool down from the sun, at the Community Waterpark. Memberships are available, as well as daily admission, from late May through Labor Day.
